<br />Dear Mr. Tobias:
<br />
<br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34,
<br />Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on June 29, 2018 an
<br />application to revise coal mining operations at the Colowyo Coal Mine was considered complete
<br />for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Colowyo Coal Company L.P. (Coal
<br />Permits). All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations in itiate from
<br />this date of filing.
<br />
<br />TR-121 proposes a power distribution system to support mining operations in the Collom Pit
<br />including light-use roads to facilitate and access to construct and maintain the power line. TR -121
<br />also proposes a reduction of the required perfmance bond amount in accordance with Rule
<br />3.02.2(5). The applicant is proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently
<br />approved for disturbance.
<br />
<br />The surface coal mining opera tion is on land located approximately 28 miles South of Craig,
<br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows:

<br />All or portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 28, 29, and
<br />30 in Township 3 North, Range 93 West; Sections 7, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26,
<br />27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 34 in Towns hip 4 North, Range 93 West; Sections 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12,
<br />13, 14, 15, 22, and 23 in Township 3 North, Range 94 West; and Sections 12, 13, 23, 24, 25, 26,
