All mulch brought onsite will be certified weed
free straw mulch. Straw will not be rye or barley,and cannot contain cheat grass seed
(Bromus Tectorum seed).
(c) (vi)There were no trees or shrubs removed from the mining area and subsequently there
are no trees or shrubs to be re-introduced to the reclaimed area.
(d) No man-made features (retention ponds, buildings, etc.)will remain after reclamation.
The old trammel that exist on the site will be left"as-is"to weather naturally.The existing
trail (ATV trail) is the only other man-made feature in the area and will also be left"as is"
(it provides access for fishermen, etc.to the BLM property).
(e) Waste rock dumps will be used to fill in any excavations as needed, and then "blended"
into the contour of the surrounding river bank.There are no underground mine openings,
buildings, ditches, or other features that will need to be addressed on the site.
(2) Concerning an estimate of costs for reclamation please consider the following;
From the most recent estimate of reclamation costs conducted by the BLM (see Plan of Operation
modification approval letter dated July 30, 2015—attached Exhibit F), the BLM has independently
calculated that a financial guarantee of$2,066.00 is required to cover the expense of reclamation on the
site as outlined by the current Plan of Operation.This is broken down as follows;
- Earth Moving $1,505.00
- Planting and Seeding $ 220.00
- Disposal $ 22.00
- Mobilization $ 100.00
- Administration $ 220.00
--------------------
Total $2,067.00
