The weather was clear and temperatures around <br />eighty degrees. Coal Ridge Mine is currently inactive and no mine represtative accompanied the inspection. <br />AVAILABILIT Y OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine’s compliance records are at the Garfield County Courthouse in Glenwood Springs, <br />Colorado. Please see the Division’s Availability of Records form at the end of this inspection report for more <br />details. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9 ; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Sediment Pond A has been reclaimed. The areas is vegetated and no s igns of erosion was observed. <br /> <br />Waddles were observed along the site for sediment and version control. The waddles were keyed in and stable. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The reclaimed sediment pond was well vegetated along with the majority of the site. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />A small slump along a terrace cut was observed. After comparing the area to previous inspections reports, no <br />additional slumping or erosion has occurred.
