June 14, 2018 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine TNL <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> <br /> Page 5 of 8 <br /> <br /> 7N Escape shaft pad: An erosional gully had formed near the pad entrance and silt fence repair have been <br />completed. <br /> Fish Creek borehole pad has been cleaned up and additional sediment structures put in place. <br /> Weeds on topsoil pile near pond T were sprayed. <br /> Stream buffer signs are up at the 18R reclaimed pad. <br /> Pond B was cleaned. <br /> Culverts and ditches within the facilities area were in the process of being cleared out by contractor. <br />The Foidel Creek School House does not appear to be affected by the mining operation. Work on the pipeline to <br />2SW appears to have been finished, new manholes are in place, and corridor appears stable. The pipeline <br />disturbance area is beginning to grow vegetation. Waste pile was observed with no issues noted. No ponding on <br />the third lift was present. White top through the mine area were turning yellow from spraying a few weeks earlier. <br />Cattle and sheep were onsite grazing at the time of inspection. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br />Additional stream buffer signs were places near the train loadout as requested.
