Progressive Agricultural Management, LLC
518 Main St, PO Box 445
Wray, CO 80758
O O: (970) 332-0604
F: (877) 730-6014
February 12, 2018
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
To Whom it May Concern,
Our farm recently purchased a section of irrigated farm ground that includes a permitted gravel/road
base pit, permit number M2007021. The material from the pit had previously been sold to external
parties, however, our intention for the pit going forward is only to use it on our own farms to maintain
our private roads.
Since the material will no longer be sold to external parties we question if we would still need to
maintain a permit. We do not want the current permit holder to reclaim the pit as we still intend to use
it for our own purposes. We also need some guidance on the proper way to remove the current permit
holder from the permit.
My cell phone is 970-630-7789 or my email is ben@proagmanagement.com, I look forward to hearing
from you to resolve this issue.
Sincerely,
Ben Hendrix
