NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety proposes to approve Technical <br />Revision Application No. 90 (TR -90) for the Foidel <br />Creek Mine (Permit No. C-1982-056), submitted <br />by Twentymile Coal, LLC. This revision proposes <br />to construct, operate, and reclaim four thickener <br />underflow (TUF) boreholes, drill pads, and <br />additional pipeline in the Western Mining District. <br />All proposed boreholes will be within 300ft of <br />County Road 27. A driveway permit has been <br />applied for through Routt County. All boreholes <br />will be drilled into the inby opening of their as <br />sociated panel to approximately 1400'. Boreholes <br />will include removal and stockpiling of soil materi- <br />al, construction of drainage structures, minor cut <br />and fill grading to establish access roads and <br />level pads, excavation of temporary cutting pits <br />on the drill pads, and drilling and casing of the <br />boreholes. <br />The Foidel Creek Mine is a/an underground coal <br />mine located in Routt County, approximately <br />23 miles SW of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />Coal interest is federal, state and private, and the <br />surface affected is federal, state and private land. <br />The permit area encompasses approximately <br />22,607.00 acres. <br />This proposed decision is based on a finding that <br />the proposed operation will comply with all require. <br />ments of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Recla- <br />mation Act, Section 34 33 101, at seq., C.R.S., <br />and the regulations promulgated thereunder. <br />Copies of the proposed decision, including <br />stipulations, are on file for public inspection at <br />the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, <br />1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. <br />Persons with an interest that may be adversely <br />affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclama- <br />tion Board on the proposed decision. Such <br />request must be made within ten (10) days of the <br />initial publication of this notice, must be in writing, <br />and must state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and the objections to the <br />proposed decision. <br />Published in the Steamboat Pilot & Today on June <br />24,2018. 0000260656 <br />
