The primary and emergency spillway structures were free of obstructions. <br /> <br />The 12 ground water monitoring wells (4 sets of 3 wells) were in good condition and have not been disturbed by <br />reclamation activities (photo 4). <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> All the knapweed plants that were seen had been recently treated. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> The areas with a PMLU of irrigated pasture and have been topsoiled were recently seeded with oats. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br /> Permit boundary signs were in place around the NH1 Pond and access road, the southern boundary, 2600 <br />Road, Z Road and 2650 Road. <br /> <br />Mine entrance signs were in place at all entrance points around the mine perimeter. <br /> <br />TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> Topsoil had been spread up to the end of disturbance on the northeast section of the mine (photo 5). <br />Topsoil had not been spread up to the east ditch, leaving an access corridor for ditch maintenance vehicles. <br /> <br />Topsoil signs were in place on topsoil piles 1, 2 (photo 6) and 4. Topsoil pile 3 was being spread on irrigated <br />pasture areas. <br /> <br />The sediment control ditch and wattles were in place on topsoil piles 1, 2 and 4. <br /> <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br />
