PERMIT #: M-2014-009
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: SJM
INSPECTION DATE: March 27, 2018
OBSERVATIONS
This was a normal monitoring inspection of the North Road, DRMS file no. M-2014-009, operated by Delta
County. This site is located approximately 1.5 miles east of Orchard City, Colorado in Delta County. I,
Stephanie Mitchell of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. No
one was able to accompany me on the inspection.
The permit area is permitted for 92.31 acres and is not active at this time and is in active status. The permit
sign was NOT in place and all permit boundary markers were in place at the time of inspection. A permit sign
will need to be installed by the corrective action date of July 30, 2018.
There was no equipment on site. There was no fuel stored on site. There appears to be no offsite erosion and
no water retention was observed. The storm water control method (berm) the Operator recently installed
seems to be successful. B
There were little or no weeds were present at the site.
Overall, no problems besides the Mine Identification Sign were noted on this site. The operation appears to be
in compliance with the approved reclamation plan.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Stephanie Mitchell at the Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South 3rd Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado
81501, phone number (970) 242-5025.
