Frank <br />Ferris of ERMR was present for the entire inspection. The weather conditions were clear and windy. The wind <br />was gusting to 30 mph and the temperature was approximately 85F. Mine operations stopped at approximately 12 <br />pm due to high wind conditions. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION – Rule 4.17: <br /> The water truck was watering the in-pit roads. <br /> <br />BACKFILL and GRADING – Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwa ll Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> The facilities area soil was being hauled to the pit for backfilling (photo 1). <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Pond 1 contained water but was not discharging. The west and east ditches were in good condition. <br /> <br />Pond 2 contained a small amount of water but was not discharging. The south and north ditches were in good <br />condition. <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> TR16 was submitted requesting to remove the facilities area north of Meehan Draw because this area was <br />not disturbed for mining operations. TR16 is currently being reviewed by DRMS. The area north of Meehan <br />Draw was walked during this inspection to verify there were no mining related disturbances. The west side of the <br />Glasier property contains a fairly dense stand dryland shrubs while the east side is an open pasture containing <br />grasses (photos 2 and 3). The Meehan property (north of Meehan Draw) consists of a variety of dryland shrubs
