Permit number M1977- <br /> 376. This TR is requesting approval to revise the approved seed mix and obtain approval for the <br /> proposed grading plan for the Fines Disposal Area. <br /> The proposed seed mix is more in line with the type of soils present at the mine site and should <br /> meet the post mining land use, resulting in a stabile Fines Disposal Area out slope. <br /> Also enclosed is a proposed grading plan for the eroded out slope on the southeast side of the <br /> Fines Disposal Area. <br /> On certain areas where it is safe to traverse across the slope with a seed drill, the product may be <br /> drill seeded. Where an area is not safe for equipment and an operator, such as steep slopes, the <br /> area will be broadcast seeded. The seeding rate will be twice the drill seeding rate. <br /> Proposed Technical Revision Seed Mix for the Fines Disposal Area: <br /> Technical Revision 2 (TR 2, 2015) states the Fines Disposal Area will be seeded with the grasses <br /> shown below. We propose to revise the approved seed mix and include forbs and shrubs. <br /> 1 <br />
