7. Routt County Impacts and Environmental Impacts <br /> The impacts to Routt County will be limited. No dust is expected from the operation due to the <br /> pit and roads being watered as needed. In the event that airborne dust is observable, immediate <br /> action to mitigate dust via roadway wetting and a slowdown of production will be initiated and <br /> sustained until airborne dust has been mitigated. <br /> Noise and traffic will remain the same as it has been in the past, as this amendment is merely an <br /> expansion of the resource available for mining. The operation has been in place for many years, <br /> so no new impacts to county services will occur. Because mining on additional lands added via <br /> this amendment will not differ from the original permits operating procedure, it is not anticipated <br /> that there will be a change to the impact to Routt County. <br /> Fetcher Vale Pit <br /> May 2018 D-8 <br />
