- A portable asphalt plant with associated tanks (permitted with Conejos County and <br /> Contracted by Alamosa County) <br /> A portable concrete plant with associated tanks <br /> - Truck scales <br /> Equipment parking and maintenance <br /> Overflow resource stockpiling <br /> A portable crusher with associated tanks <br /> Active pit serving as a storm water settling pond <br /> 250 gallon fuel tank in secondary containment (110% of tank capacity) <br /> Portable lights with a generator for emergency after hours maintenance support <br /> The following list is the best estimate as to the equipment that will be used onsite throughout the <br /> mine life: <br /> - 1-2 Front end loaders <br /> - crushing and screening plant <br /> - 1 D-6 Bulldozer <br /> - 15000 gallon water truck <br /> - off-highway road haul trucks (number will depend upon production needs) <br /> - 15 and 24 ton on-road haul trucks (number will depend upon production needs) <br /> A portable asphalt plant, contract for by Alamosa County, may be erected on the site periodically <br /> and serves to facilitate Alamosa County's on-demand asphalt needs. Material crushed and <br /> stockpiled on site may be used for asphalt production. Maximum asphalt production will not <br /> exceed 2,000 tons per day. Asphalt production may occur only during the warm season months <br /> of April through October.
