NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety proposes to approve Technical Revi- <br />sion Application No. 89 (TR-89) for the Foidel <br />Creek Mine (Permit No. C-1982-056), submitted <br />by Twentymile Coal, LLC. The proposed modificai- <br />ton would add a stoker coal transfer conveyor, a <br />screening/loading building, a non-spec coal trans- <br />fer conveyor, an extension on existing washplant <br />building, realighnment of a portion of an existing <br />haul road, and relocating an existing sub-station. <br />The Foidel Creek Mine is a/an underground coal <br />mine located in Routt County, approximately 23 <br />miles SW of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Coal <br />interest is federal, state and private, and the sur- <br />face affected is federal, state and private land. <br />The permit area encompasses approximately <br />22,607.00 acres. <br />This proposed decision is based on a finding that <br />the proposed operation will comply with all require- <br />ments of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Recla- <br />mation Act, Section 34 33 101, et seq., C.R.S., <br />and the regulations promulgated thereunder. <br />Copies of the proposed decision, including stipula- <br />tions, are on file for public inspection at the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. Per- <br />sons with an interest that may be adversely affect- <br />ed by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board on the proposed decision.
