(Tri-State), is the parent <br />company to Axial Basin Coal Company, which is the general partner to Colowyo Coal Company <br />L.P. (Colowyo). Therefore, Tri-State on behalf of Colowyo is submitting this adequacy response <br />for minor revision 186 (MR -186) for Permit No. C-1981-019. Tri-State received your adequacy <br />letter dated May 18, 2018, and has prepared the following response: <br />The Division has performed a reclamation cost estimate to reclaim the additional Collom <br />in pit drill borehole length. In MR -186, the total of in pit drill holes has decreased from <br />33 to 27 however, the total length associated with the boreholes has increased from the <br />previously approved MR -174. The calculated cost is based on the difference in total <br />length required to plug the holes. Since Colowyo previously bonded for 33 boreholes, <br />markers and plugs were not included in this cost estimate. The Division calculated the <br />cost for this revision and the total value of this estimate is $13,199.06 (see attached cost <br />estimate). Additionally, attached is the task associated with all boreholes associated with <br />the Collom in pit drillingprogram to be incorporated into Exhibit 13C. The Division's <br />cost estimate is consistent with previous cost estimates approved by both the Division and <br />Colowyo.
