Tabetha Lynch, DRMS
Page 2
4/30/2015
PR 9 does not include additions to geologic information as stated in the stipulation above. Please
update Sections 2.7.2 and 2.7.3 of the Trapper Mine permit application package with the
information required by Rule 2.04.6(2)(a) and (b).
Note: I did not review the PR9 revision against all requirements of these stipulations.
Rule: 2.04.7(1) and (3)-(4) — Hydrology Description
Hydrology descriptions and Mitigation of Impacts of Mining for the N -pit redisturbance
area, is not adequately described as required by Rules 2.04.7(1)(b) and 2.05.6(3)(a) and
(b).
o Please provide additional text specific to the N -pit. This should meet the
requirements of the above stated rules and specifically address these rules in
relation to anticipated drawdown due to pit dewatering, anticipated rebound of
groundwater elevations, affects to surrounding wells and springs, ground water
quality, and storage and recharge capacity. This is a redisturbed area, however the
disturbance is going deeper than previously mined and will create a larger volume
of disturbance and increased permeability.
Rule: 2.05.4(2)(f)(along with 4.05.8, 4.11.4, and 4.14.3) and (2)(g) — Reclamation Plan
No adequacy items
Rule: 2.05.6(3)(a) -(b) — Mitigation of Impacts of Mining
See adequacy item listed under Rule 2.04.7
