EXHIBIT B <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> COUNTY: MORGAN <br /> OPERATOR: Castle Rock Construction Co.of Colorado,LLC <br /> 1. The area designated within the pit limits is currently hilly rangeland used for livestock <br /> grazing only. <br /> 2. Soils on the grass land are ridge top typical of Morgan County and are classified as <br /> Valent Sand,Bijou Loamy Sand and Bresser Sandy Loam. <br /> 3. Topsoil is 10 inches, silty sandy M-L, CL type by Unified Soil Classification. <br /> 4. The soil beneath the overburden is sandy which will be used as fill embankment. The <br /> soil will be removed to a 12-15' depth from the westerly facing excavation. <br /> 5. Clumps of natural grasses including blue gama, buffalo grass and western wheatgrass <br /> exist along with weedy vegetation. The proposed pit area is very sparsely vegetated. <br /> 6. The existing slopes vary in slope but generally are 6:1 slopes. The final slopes will be <br /> reclaimed to a condition of 4:1 or flatter. <br /> 7. Vertical pit walls will not be necessary. <br /> 8. Structures <br /> a. All of the fences are the property of John Yocam with which the property lease <br /> has addresses. <br /> b. Our haul road parallels a livestock pens for 250 feet and 20 feet away. The <br /> Southwest corner is 763 feet from State Highway 144. <br /> c. There is an existing fence that we will be crossing through a gate located 765 feet <br /> from State Highway 144 along our haul road in and out belonging to John <br /> Yocam. <br /> d. A pond owned by John Yocam is located along our haul route,325 feet from <br /> State Highway 144. <br /> e. A 60 feet by 30 feet machinery shed is located 75 feet north of our haul road and <br /> 140 feet west of State Highway 144. <br />
