<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> <br /> <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has issued an Order to Energy Fuels <br />Coal, Inc. to Show Cause why the Southfield Mine permit no. C-1981-014 should not be revoked. The <br />Southfield Mine is a reclaimed coal mine consisting of 1.45 acres. The Division has determined that a <br />pattern of violations of the requirements of the Act, Rules, and C-1981-014 permit conditions required by <br />the Act exist and that the violations are caused by a failure of Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. to comply with the <br />Act, the Rules, or the permit conditions. Following the issuance of this order to Show Cause the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board shall provide an opportunity for public hearing pursuant to Rule 5.03.5. <br /> <br />The legal description for the Southfield Mine is: <br />Township 20 South, Range 69 West <br />Sections 19, 30, and 31 <br />Township 20 South, Range 70 West <br />Sections 23, 24, 25, and 26 <br />Township 19 South, Range 69 West <br />Sections 17 and 18 <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which is or may be adversely affected by this order may submit written <br />comments for the adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, to the <br />Division at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Such comments should be <br />submitted within 30 days of the publication of this notice.
