Additionally, the City entered into an agreement with the Colorado Parks and
Wildlife program, and is in the process of converting the site into an open space for the public to
egjoy activities including; hiking, fishing, biurding, boating, and wildlife watching.
The City of Lamar has certified to both AWWS, and CDPHE, that there are no discharges of any
kind, including Storm water, from the site, and is therefore working„ in conjunction with
AWWS, to obtain the necessary bond release from the Division of Mining Reclamation, in order
to terminate their stormwater permit with CDPHE.
Despite numerous attempts to leave voicemail messages, and submit an online message, I have
not been able to get ahold of the appropriate contact to process this request.
I would be very grateful for a response. if you have any questions, or concerns, please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Compliance Project Manager
Alberts Water & Wastewater Specialists, Inc.
(970) 491-1610 x 2 / hp@awws.org / www.awws.or
