0
stove pipe within a 30 meter area on a drainage slope. OSMRE is making the determination of eligibility
as "not eligible" and concurrently consulting with the Colorado State Historic Preservation Officer. The
isolated find is recommended not eligible under any criteria. Please see the additional attached
documentation for more information.
10. Describe the undertaking's effects on historic properties:
2018 -IF -1 has been discovered after having been discovered on the surface by operation of the
undertaking post -approval. The location of the isolated find will be adversely affected and currently a
work stoppage is in place. The project will completely destroy the isolated find location. Provide copies or summaries of the views provided to date by any consulting parties, Indian
tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations, or the public, including any correspondence from the SHPO
and/or THPO.
For the Colowyo Mine Collom Expansion Project, OSMRE received a response from the Southern Ute
Indian tribe that the project will have no effect to properties of religious and cultural significance. Moffat
County participated in discussions regarding NEPA during project planning, but had no comments
regarding cultural resources under section 106. The public participated in NEPA project planning as well
and no parties identified concerns for planning under Section 106.
* see Instructions for Completing the ACHP el 06 Form
III. Optional Information
13. Please indicate the status of any consultation that has occurred to date. Are there any consulting
parties involved other than the SHPO/THPO? Are there any outstanding or unresolved concerns or issues
that the ACHP should know about in deciding whether to participate in consultation?
This is a consultation request for a post -review discovery. Pursuant to 36 CFR 800.13(b)(3), OSMRE is
