CAM MINING, LLC. <br />Munger Canyon Mine <br />PHASE III REVEGETATION EVALUATION REPORT - 2016 & 2017 <br />Years 1 & 2 <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />1.1 General <br />Cedar Creek Associates, Inc. (Cedar Creek) was contracted in 2016 and 2017 by J. E. Stover and <br />Associates, Inc. on behalf of CAM Mining, LLC. to evaluate the reclaimed areas of the Munger Canyon Mine <br />for Phase III Bond Release. Data collection was performed in the interest of ascertaining progress toward <br />revegetation success in general accordance with Rule 3.03, Release of Performance Bonds. The reclaimed <br />areas evaluated in 2016 and 2017 are referred to as Phase III Bond Release Block for purposes of this <br />report. The Sagebrush Reference Area was established in 1980 and was sampled in 2016 and 2017 to <br />provide cover and production comparison values to facilitate an evaluation of success for the reclaimed <br />areas. The general location of the Phase III Bond Release Block and Sagebrush Reference Area are <br />displayed on Map 1, while the specific sample points for these areas are provided on Maps 2 to 5 (Appendix <br />A). Field sampling was systematically conducted within the reclaimed area as well as within the reference <br />area on June Th - 6d' in 2016 and June 21st — 22nd in 2017. Sampling was conducted by or under the direct <br />supervision of Cedar Creek's Senior Reclamation Ecologist, Mr. Jesse Dillon, in 2016 and Senior Plant <br />Ecologist, Mr. Erik M. Mohr, in 2017. In addition to the sampling effort, current conditions existing at the <br />time of field work were documented by photos of the bond release block and the reference area to provide <br />a visual demonstration of site -conditions. Nomenclature for plant taxa followed Weber and Whitman (1996) <br />and lifeform classification regarding sub -shrubs followed Wyoming DEQ (1999).
