The blue arrows show the permit boundary for comparison with the surrounding
topography.
9. Submit bond estimate
The current bond amount was submitted in 2006. This bond has been recalculated to
reflect the interim reclamation/removal of ore from stockpiles phase of this operation. A
separate bond is included for the 30 foot area outside the original permit boundary where
reclamation is proposed. See bond calculation spreadsheets, Exhibit#5.
EXHIBIT E-Map (Rule 6.3.5)
10: The maximum final slopes of reclaimed areas will be 3:1 rather than 6:1. The final
Reclamation Map, E-5, has been corrected and is enclosed as Exhibit#4.
11. The stockpiled tailings material will be used during interim reclamation, over-steep
stockpiles that are left will be graded out, and all resulting slopes on stockpiles will be no
greater than 3:1. The Mine Map and Interim Reclamation Map, (E-3/E-4) has been
corrected and is enclosed as Exhibit#3.
EXHIBIT I-Proof of Filing with the County Clerk(Rule 6.3.9)
Changes and additions to the application on file with the Division, will be reflected in the
public review copy. Enclosed please see that the amended copy has been filed (Exhibit
#6).
EXIBIT S-Permanent Man-Made Structures (Rule 6.3.12)
There are six structures within 200 feet of the Scott Blue II claim and amendment area.
These include (1) buildings on the State Highway property, (2) a dirt road that accesses
the Gold King Mountain Inn, (3) paved road, City of Cripple Creek, (4) dirt road, Dee
Ann McGennis, Cripple Creek Heights, (5) powerlines, Black Hills Energy, (6) dirt road,
John Schaffer, Brooklyn Mine. (Exhibit#7).
See notarized agreements (Exhibit#8).
I appreciate the opportunity to correct the deficiencies in AM-01, M-2007-031. My plan
is to complete all final reclamation in Parcel 2 during the summer and fall of 2018.
Interim reclamation in Parcel 1 will begin in the fall of 2018, but may not be completed
until 2019 when the ponds are again dry.
Sincerely,
Foster Scott
Pres.
