Wade Wymore of GCC Energy was present for the entire
inspection. The weather conditions were partly cloudy and the ground was dry. The temperature was
approximately 70F.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
King I
Reach 1 and 5 were free and clear of obstructions.
Reach 7 daylights north of the bathhouse. In this area, sediment has built up and needs to be cleaned (photo 1).
The discharge pipes of Reach 2 and 4 were in good condition.
West Pond emergency and primary spillways were free of obstructions.
East Pond emergency and primary spillways were free of obstructions. The former primary spillway pipe was
visible below the soil surface on the west embankment. The former spillway pipe appeared to be at a lower
elevation than the emergency spillway, although without accurate measuring equipment, it could not be verified.
The former spillway elevation should be verified to be above the emergency spillway or repaired to prevent water
flowing through it.
The inlet of Reach 9 is obstructed with sediment and needs to be cleaned (photo 2).

King II
A bore scope was used to inspect Culvert C-4 to look for possible leaks in the CMP. It was noted in the last
inspection report that there may be a leak in the culvert. The bore scope was mounted on a wooden sled and
pushed into the western culvert of C-4 A&B from the discharge end. No leaks were noted by the bore scope
inspection but a small dent in the CMP and a possible separation at the joint was noted. The distance to the
dent/joint was measured and a backhoe was used to dig the soil around the CMP. The outside of the CMP
