The inspection was <br />completed by Clayton Wein and Janet Binns of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />(DRMS). The site is inactive; therefore, no company representative was present for the inspection. The skys were <br />clear and the temperature was approximately 65 degrees farenheight. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The records for the Munger Canyon Mine ar e located at the offices of J.E. Stover and As sociates in Grand <br />Junction, Colorado. The r ecords were in good condition and up to date. There were two items in the records <br />that need to be updated: please file the increased value of bond as per TR-28, and please file the 2017 <br />Stormwater annual report . Please see the Availability of Records form attached with this report for more <br />details. <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE – Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br /> The Waste Rock Pile was well vegetated and stable during the inspection. There were no indications of <br />erosional features at the reclaimed area. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br /> There were no sightings of wildlife during the inspection. However, there was plenty of signs that wildlife <br />has been at the reclaimed mine. Elk, deer and coyote scat were observed throughout the site. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> At the time of the inspection, the mine site was dry. Small puddles were observed in a couple of the creek <br />crossings. Munger Creek was dry and the creek crossing was in good condition. Salt Creek was flowing during
