This Application was
assigned Receipt No. 319305. In early December, you returned the
Well Permit Application to us, and requested additional
information. A copy of your December 6, 1990, letter to A&G
Partnership is enclosed herewith, for reference.
We have addressed your concerns as follows:
1. We have obtained an Affidavit from Mesa County, the owner
of the existing abandoned pit that is within 600 feet of our
proposed pit. The Affidavit is signed by the chairman of the Board
of county Commissioners of Mesa County. That signed Affidavit is
enclosed herewith.
2. We have revised Exhibit A to the Well Permit Application,
to make it clear that the pumps will be temporary pumps, that they
will not be permanently installed in or around the pit, and that
concrete rings or other permanent pumping structures will not be
installed. We have also made some other minor revisions to Exhibit
A, to more clearly express our proposed uses of the water.
We also made two changes to the Gravel Pit Well Permit
Application itself. First of all, we had forgotten to put in the
pit name in . the space indicated after Paragraph No. 3.
Accordingly, that pit name has now been inserted. In addition, we
added dewatering of the pit as a part of Paragraph 9. In our
original Application, we had mentioned dewatering of the pit in
Exhibit A, but we had neglected to mention it in Paragraph 9.
