We have identified your <br /> questions/concerns as follows and accordingly have responded, in bold following each <br /> concern/questions. Please note the following: <br /> • The request references a change to the seed mix. However there appears to be no <br /> changes from the seed mix approved under TR-2.Please clarify this. <br /> The seed mix from TR-2 is going to change by adding Rabbit Brush and Triticale <br /> and increase pound per acre seed rates. <br /> • Previous discussions have mentioned removing the remaining terraces and replacing <br /> them with other surface roughening techniques such as micro-pocketing. Both,in the <br /> narrative and on the map,terraces are still apart of the reclamation plan.Please clarify <br /> which method is to be used. <br /> It is proposed to repair the terraces(le.,remove all signs of erosion)AND to <br /> provide additional surface roughening and micro-pocketing to hold seed, <br /> amendments and mulch. <br /> • Please specifywhat type ofsoil amendment Sulphurwill be used. <br /> What will be used is pelletized disintegrating Sulphur to help lower the PH level of the <br /> existing soil. <br /> • Please provide the Divisionwith unit costs for each the following materials sothatthey <br /> may be properly bonded for. <br /> o Triganics: $2140 per acre <br /> o Richlawn 3-6-3 with Mycorrihiza Humates: $1367 per acre <br /> o Quantum Growth Light—liquid: $130 per acre <br /> o Quantum Growth VSC—liquid: $130 per acre <br /> o EcoFlex: $2708 per acre <br /> GLENWOOD SPRINGS 118 West Sixth St, Suite 200 1 Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 1 970.945.1004 <br />
