Ti�t���^� <br />May 2, 1983 <br />Mr. Dan Mathews, Reclamation Specialist <br />Mired land Reclamation Division <br />423 Centenrial Building <br />1317 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear ,Mr. Mathews: <br />The following information and plans are submitted to .cr~ply with <br />Stipulation No. 1 included in Colowyo's Mining Permit No. C -319-Q1. <br />Enclosed is a surface water monitoring and well monitoring loca_'^-1 map, <br />Water Monitoring Sites For Permit No. C-019-81 (Mao 37). <br />As stated during the applica:icn process, Colowyo will sibmit to <br />the M.-.R.C. an annual report containing all of the data obtaine1 from <br />these and all other required monitor;na and sarroling programs. The first <br />annual report will be for the period January 1, 1983 th-ouch December 31, <br />1983 and will be submitted by April 1, 1984. <br />Water Monitoring Plan <br />The following plan is submitted to satisfy Stipulatio-t '0. 1 and <br />also includes the complete Surface 'dater Monitoring Pian. <br />1. Sediment Ponds - There are currently three existing sedgy--ent <br />pontis, wit.'i valid N.P.D.E.S. Permits, contril ling runoff From <br />disturbed areas at the mine and loadout site. A fourth gond <br />planned to be constructed and is shown as Pt. 004 on dat.r <br />Monitoring Sites For Permit :o. C-019-81 (Mau 37). A cccy of <br />Coiowyo's N.P.D.E.S. Permit 3o.
