This site is also a part of <br />the Peabody Sage Creek Mine monitoring program. <br />Springs <br />Spoil Spring 1 (YSSPG1). <br />This spoil spring was discovered in September 2002. It is located just <br />above the old haul road culvert crossing Annand Draw. Its TDS plot <br />displays a slightly increasing trend. <br />Spoil Spring 2 (YSSPG2). <br />This spoil spring was discovered in May 2005 below Stock Pond 011A (i.e., <br />above NPDES Pond 011). It is normally dry in the fall. Its TDS plot <br />displays a slightly decreasing trend since 2010. <br />Spoil Spring 3 (YSSPG3). <br />This spoil spring was discovered in September 2005 above NPDES Pond 012. <br />Its TDS plot displays an increasing trend through 2015. However, the <br />last two TDS values (2016 and 2017) are the lowest on record. <br />Spoil Spring 4 (YSSPG4). <br />This spoil spring was discovered in June 2006, in the main channel that <br />feeds NPDES Pond 012. It is located to the north of Spoil Spring 3. Its <br />TDS plot displays a decreasing trend. <br />Comparison of Surface Water Quality to Water Use Standards. <br />SCC has compiled a list of surface water standards for agricultural uses <br />(Table 11). This list is composed of CDPHE surface water agricultural use <br />standards (CDPHE, Reg.31, November 2009). <br />Table 12 provides a comparison of surface water quality (including <br />springs) to agricultural standards. This Paradox database -generated table <br />does not include the units of concentration (mg/l or ug/1) for each <br />parameter. The units used for each parameter are the same as those listed <br />on the standards table (Table 11) and are also the same as those used in <br />12 <br />
