Spruce <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br /> Permit Renewal Application No. 7 (RN-7) <br /> Munger Canyon Mine (Permit No. C-1981-020) <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Mesa County Commissioners: <br /> <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is <br />proposing to approve a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The <br />application was submitted by CAM Mining, LLC on March 1, 2018, for the Munger Canyon Mine. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication <br />of this notice by the Division in the The Daily Sentinel. <br /> <br />The underground mine is located approximately 18 miles North of Loma, Colorado. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />18 miles North of Loma, Colorado in Munger Canyon (mine site) and 1/2 mile east of Loma (rail <br />loadout site) <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the <br />above address and Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, 200 S. Spruce Street , Grand Junction, CO <br />81501. A Copy of the Division's “Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance” is available at <br />your County Clerk and Recorder’s office. <br />
