The application was submitted by Bowie <br />Resources, LLC on November 7, 2017 for the Bowie No. 1 Mine. In accordance with Rule <br />2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for <br />Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication <br />of the public notice by the Division in the Delta County Independent. <br /> <br />The underground mine is located approximately 3 miles North of Paonia. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br /> <br />In all or portions of the following: <br /> Sections 1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 24, and 25 Township 13 South, Range 92 West of <br />the 6th P.M. and <br /> Sections 17, 18, 19, 29, 30, 31, and 32 of Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application a re available for public review in the Division offices at the <br />above address and at the Paonia Public Library, 2 3rd Street, Paonia, CO 81428. A Copy of the <br />Division's “Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance” is available at Delta County Clerk <br />and Recorder, 501 Palmer Street, #211, Delta, CO 81416 and at the Division offices .
