2. Reclamation Timetable
The time for reclamation is shown below—Table E-2. Revegetation Plan
For each area of reclamation soil will be disked to loosen the soil. Due to the mild grade, seed
can be drilled in both regions; broadcast seeding will be utilized where reclaimed perimeter
slopes do not allow drilling. Seed mixes listed below will be used to revegetate the site with
Rangeland mix on the slopes and irrigated pasture on the flats. Certified weed free mulch will be
crimped into the surface at 2000 lbs. per acre. Fertilizer may be added as determined by a soil
test at the time of seeding. Heavy furrows will be left in the tilled topsoil to provide moisture
concentration and shade areas in order to promote better conditions for successful vegetation
establishment. Seeding will take place during the fall following retopsoiling of slopes. Slopes
will be regraded, backfilled, and retopsoiled as soon as they are able to be reclaimed.
Base Products Gravel Pit 41 • •,.,,,.,s.,.
February 2018 E-2
