The reagents are NS 1162 and EXP 061117
from Neo-Solutions, Inc(see attached SDS's). The proposed dosing rate for these reagents are 50-100 g/ton for NS 1162
and 25-75 g/ton for EXP 061117. The test will occur during one run period which is typically 10 days. Both reagents will be
stored in a 275 gallon tote and placed on a secondary containment pallet with in the mill building to provide tertiary
containment. One tote of each reagent will be utilized for the test. In the event we see any issues with our process from
the reagent testing,we will discontinue the test and dispose of the remaining chemical in accordance with waste
regulations. We will update the EPP if we decide to make this change permanent.
Please let me know if you have any concerns. We would like to begin the test as soon as possible.
Thank you
Diana
Diana Kelts
Chief Environmental Scientist
Environmental Department
Climax Mine
719-486-7525
2 attachments
NS1162.pdf
765K
EXP061117.pdf
810K
