reclamation liability, which was found to be less than the surety bond currently in-place.
Based on the reduced liability, HGTI filed a Surety Reduction Request, and a reduction in the
bond to $1,107,241 was approved onMarch 29, 2017
Since CDMGs approval of the original permit application (Permit C-92-081) in May 1993,
Hayden Gulch has submitted several technical revisions (TR), minor revisions (MR), permit
renewals (RN) and a bond release (SL). A brief summary of the revisions follows.
TR -01 Responses to Stipulations 2 and 3 attached to Permit C-92-081. The TR
was submitted July 22, 1993 and the proposed decision to approve was
issued on Apri127, 1994.
MR -01 Change of Operator and Update TAB 3, Adjudication File. The MR was
submitted July 25, 1994 and the proposed decision to approve was issued
on August 22, 1994.
MR -02 Removal of RRC -15 from permit. The MR was submitted February 27,
1995 and the proposed decision to approve was issued on March 6, 1995.
MR -03 Ownership and Control Update. The MR was submitted November 7, 1995
and the proposed decision to approve was issued on December 11, 1995.
TR -02 Responses to 1995 Midterm Issues. The TR was submitted January 31,
1996 and the decision to approve was issued on December 19, 1996.
MR -04 Submittal of Midterm Bond Increase. The MR was submitted and the
decision to approve was issued on April 5, 1996.
MR -05 Update of Operator, Ownership and Control Infomlation. The MR was submitted
July 31, 1996 and the proposed decision to approve was issued on September 10,
1996.
MR -06 Revise Legal Description. The MR was submitted August 12, 1996 and the
decision to approve was issued on August 30, 1996.
MR -07 Add Culvert RRC -15 to Permit. The MR was submitted May 23, 1997 and the
decision to approve was issued on May 23, 1997
TR -03 Rail Loop Pond Storage Capacity Demonstration. The TR was submitted on
November 3, 1997 and the decision to approve was issued on February 19, 1998.
RN -01 Permit Renewal 01. The RN was submitted on November 3, 1997 and
the decision to approve was issued on June 2, 1998.
MR -08 Update Culvert Table and Map. The MR was submitted on June 18, 1997
and decision to approve was issued on July 31, 1997.
