BOX 758
GREELEY, COLORADO 80632
WEBSITE: WWW.CO.WELD.CO.US
PHONE: (970) 304-6496
FAX: (970) 304-6497
Weld County is requesting a partial release of the land encumbered by the above-mentioned
permit. Per our telephone conversation on March 19, 2018, 1 am submitting a revised map
showing the areas being requested for release and the proposed new permit area. I am also
including a revised Exhibit F: Reclamation Plan Map.
As discussed on the phone, Weld County is requesting the release of the undisturbed area
around the gravel pit because of the heavy oil and gas activities surrounding the site. The oil
and gas activity continues to encroach around the pit and the release will allow the oil
companies the ability to utilize the unmined areas of the permit while reducing Weld County's
responsibility to reclaim the unminedlundisturbed areas of the permit.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,
Clay Kimmi, P.E.
Weld County Public Works
Original: Division of Reclamation Mining & Safety
Page f or
M:Wininglln ReclamationTiscus NorthlDRMSTiscus North Revused Reclamation Request.doc
