Transit Mix intends to use separate staking for the various boundaries. Perimeter signage at the permit boundary will face outwards to warn that there is an active mine inside the boundary. The affected lands boundary will also be marked with signage, but these signs will face inward to warn operators that they are not to cross the boundary line. Following construction of erosion control measures, topsoil, assumed to be six inches deep, will be removed from affected areas and stockpiled for later use during reclamation. Table D-1 shows the expected salvageable topsoil by mining phases.
