Transit Mix Concrete Co.
where Highway 115 crosses over Little Turkey Creek south of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
LTC-2 was installed in July 2017 and measures flows conditions upstream from the proposed
mining area. The LTC-2 station is located near the western boundary of the Ranch property,
Figure G-1. These stations collect stream depth data every 15 minutes using Solinst Level
Loggers. Flow measurement data and water quality samples were collected quarterly at station
LTC-1, and starting July 2017, both stations will be sampled monthly. A total of eight water
quality sampling events have been conducted since LTC-1 was established, and these sampling
events collected data from wet and dry seasons. LTC-2 has been sampled twice. These
locations will continue to be monitored to establish baseline conditions as discussed in the
attached Surface Water and Groundwater Monitoring Plan. Figure G-2A illustrates LTC-1
during the August 2015 visit, and Figure G-213 illustrates LTC-2 during the July 2017 visit.
Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry Permit Application
March 9,2018 G-5
