The mine is a reclaimed underground mine. <br />No mine personnel remain on site. The weather was dry and mild (45 degrees F.) No cattle were in the pasture <br />near the permit area. The gate at the bridge was secured, and no apparent trespass was noted. <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE – Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br /> The waste rock pile remains stable and well vegetated. No problems were noted with this reclaimed area. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br /> Though no animals were observed during the inspection, numerous fresh Elk tracks and scat were <br />observed on the roadway. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The mine site was mostly dry, with occasional snow patches remaining in the shaded areas. Portions of <br />the reclaimed area were a little muddy. Munger creek was not flowing but the road crossing was soft and slightly <br />muddy. <br />Salt Creek was dry. The area has not received much precipitation. Most of the snow is already off the site. All <br />SAEs appear to be functioning appropriately. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The access road was in good condition. The inspector did not attempt to drive through the Munger Creek <br />crossing due to not having a vehicle with enough clearance, and the soft, slightly muddy condition of the crossing. <br />The access road from the Munger Creek crossing to the reclaimed Haul road was soft but not too muddy, and
