RULE 2 - PERMITS <br />Including these two plants, the survey also identified plants within the permit area that are included <br />• on the Colorado State Noxious Weed A and B lists (Colorado Department of Agriculture, 2009): <br />• Bull thistle (Cirsium vulgare) was found in the Sagebrush Grassland vegetation cover type <br />• Musk thistle (Carduus nutans ssp. macrolepis) was found in the Mountain Brush vegetation <br />cover type and Improved Pasture/CRP vegetation cover type. <br />• Hoary cress (Cardaria draba) was found in the Sagebrush Grassland and Improved <br />Pasture/CRP vegetation cover types. It has been known to occur in the Mined and <br />Reclaimed Land areas though weed control activities may have eliminated it there. <br />• Canada thistle was found in the Sagebrush Grassland and Improved Pasture/CRP vegetation <br />cover types. This species likewise has occurred in the Mined and Reclaimed Land areas and <br />it has been the target of weed control efforts. <br />• <br />PSCM Permit App. 2.04-148 Revision 12/17/09 <br />
