Colowyo Coal Company <br />2017 Annual Reclamation and Hydrology Report <br />SECTION 5 - INTERIM REVEGETATION MONITORING REPORT <br />RULE REOUIREMENT <br />RULE 2.04.13(2) <br />Rule 2.04.13(2) the Permittee may provide additional monitoring information as required <br />by the approved permit. <br />GENERAL DISCUSSION <br />The Interim Revegetation Monitoring Report can be found in Exhibit 5. <br />In 2011, a tall shrub plot field trial was initiated at Colowyo Mine within reclamation <br />parcel STOW, adjacent to the eastern border of the South Taylor Pit. As required, during <br />the fall of 2012, Colowyo replaced all containerized plantings that suffered mortality <br />since their initial planting during the fall of 2011. Colowyo will continue to capture <br />mortality data through 2016 on this field trial. 2016 survival/mortality monitoring results <br />can be found in the revegetation monitoring report. <br />Page 46 <br />
