Hays <br />Re: Technical Revision for Intermittent Status for <br />M-1977-252 Pioneer Mine, Douglas County, Colorado <br />Dear Mr. Hays: <br />General Shale Brick, Inc. (GSB) is providing Technical Revision (TR) which is a request for <br />intermittent status at the Pioneer Mine per C.R.S. 34-32.5-103(11)(b). <br />As stated in the intermittent status form, the Pioneer Mine is owned fee simple. GSB operates <br />another clay mine with similar characteristics that is a clay lease with a lease term of 5 years with a <br />possibility of another 5 -year term. GSB is focusing their efforts to utilize the leased property as much <br />as possible prior to its expiration. The expiring clay lease will extend the life of the Pioneer Mine.
