General Land Office (GLO) records and survey plats were examined for Township 5 North, Range 90 West (T5NR90W); and Township 6 North, Range 90 West (T6NR90W). The review of these records focused on the study area. All of the original surveys were conducted in 1877 (accepted in 1878). No cultural manifestations appear on the original survey plat within the present project area. The dependent resurvey for T5NR90, conducted from 1911 to 1914 (accepted in 1916), shows an unnamed road entering the northwest quarter of Section 4 from the north. The dependent resurvey for T6NR90W, conducted from 1910 to 1911 (accepted in 1913), shows an unnamed road bisecting the western half of Section 32. This road was previously recorded in 2011 as 5MF7402.1. 14
