Species contributing less than <br />five percent (5X) of the total may be grouped according to the following <br />life forms: <br />`5 <br />"..% . � Qt <br />(a) Annual and:biennial grasses• <br />(b) Annual and biennial forbs <br />(c) Cool season perennial grasses:r' ,r <br />(d) 'Warm season perennial g`rassea <br />(e) TPerennial': fofis <br />.Sy <br />The diversity of the revegatated <br />acceptable if: <br />area shall be considered <br />(a) There are at least as many species on the revegetated <br />area which contribute 5% or more of the total herba- <br />ceous cover, productivity, or frequency, as there are <br />in the undisturbed vegetation; <br />(b) All forms, as listed above, present in the undisturbed <br />vegetation must be present on the revegetated area; and <br />(c) For woody vegetation, there must be at least as many <br />woody species on the revegetated area contributing 52 or <br />more of the total woody plant density as were present in <br />the pre -mining vegetation. <br />The seasonal variety of the revegetated area shall be consid- <br />ered acceptable if those components of the vegetation which have <br />peak periods of growth at different times during the growing season <br />(such as warm season and cool season grasses) represent comparable <br />proportions of the total vegetation, when the reclaimed area is <br />compared with the undisturbed vegetation.
