Public Notice <br />CAM MINING LLC, 2352 N. 7th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction CO 81501, has filed with <br />the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety a complete application for the renewal of a <br />valid existing permit to conduct mining in Colorado for its Munger Canyon Mine, Mining and <br />Reclamation Permit No. C-1981-020. <br />The Munger Canyon Mine is located approximately 18 miles north of Loma, CO along <br />State Highway 139. East Salt Creek is located on western portion of the permit boundary. <br />Most of the surface of the permit area is owned by the United States. The permit area is <br />encompassed within portions of Sections 22, 27, 28 and 29 of Township 7 South, Range <br />102 West, 6t" P.M. A portion of the permit area in section 29 is owned by #11 Enterprises. <br />The mine site sections are contained within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Howard <br />Canyon and Garvey Canyon Quadrangle maps. . <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Mesa County <br />Clerk and Recorder's office, 200 S. Spruce Street, Grand Junction, CO, 81501. The <br />approved permit application document and the renewal application are available at the <br />Denver office of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety [Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br />St., Denver, CO 80203, (303) 866-3567. Written comments, objections or a request for an <br />informal conference on the proposed permit renewal may be submitted to the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety and must be received by the Division within 30 days after <br />final publication of this notice. <br />
