PUBLIC NOTICE C.B. Minerals Company, LLC., 2352 N. 7th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, CO 81501, has submitted an application for a Technical Revision (No. 20) to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety (DRMS), for its Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine, mining permit No. C- 1984-065. The proposed revision incorporates reclaimed and final contours into the post - mining topography map. The mine is located approximately 3 miles east of New Castle, south of the Colorado River in the Grand Hogback region in Garfield County. The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine permit area is located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Storm King Mountain and New Castle Quadrangle maps. The mine permit area is located in portions of the following described lands: Township 6 South, Range 91 West, 6th PM Sec. 1: Those lands in the NE'/ yet south of the right-of-way of County Road 335, Lots 3 and 4, S'/2, SY2NW'/4 Sec. 12: NY2NE% Township 6 South, Range 90 West, 6th PM Sec. 5: SY2SW% Sec. 6: All lands south of the right-of-way of County Road Sec. 7: NEY4, N%2NW'/ Sec. 8: N'/2, NY2SE'/, NE%SWY4 Sec. 9: SY2NWY4, SW% Sec. 15: NW% Sec. 16: NY2NE%, NEY4NW% containing 2484.3 acres more or less. Ownership of the land within the permit boundary is all private and includes land owned by NCIG Financial, Inc., Barton Porter and Leonard Rippy. A copy of the proposed revision is available for public inspection at the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder's office, Garfield County Court House, 109 8t" Street, Suite 200, Glenwood Springs, CO, 81601 and at the offices of the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO, 80203, (303) 866-3567. Written comments or objections to the proposed revision may be submitted to and additional information may be obtained from the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety at the above address. Written comments must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety within 10 days after the date of this publication in order to be considered.
