Box 387 <br />Rye, CO 81067 <br />Re: Eastern Colorado Aggregates, R.L.L.L.P., Potts Pit #2, File No. M-2006-013, Temporary Cessation <br />Status Approval (TC01) <br />Dear Ms. Neumeister: <br />On February 21, 2018 the Division approved your request for Temporary Cessation (TC) status for the Potts Pit #2_ <br />The start date for this first TC period was set at May 15, 2015, per the TC request submittal. All other conditions <br />and requirements of Permit No. M-2006-013 remain in full force and effect. <br />Rules 1. 13.8 and 1. 13.9 state that: <br />1.13.8 A permit granted pursuant io Rules shall continue in effect as long as: <br />(a) the mining operation is resrmled within five (5) years of the beginning of Temporary Cessation; <br />Wi <br />(b) the Operator• f les a report requesting an extension of the period of Temporay Cessation with <br />the Board stating the reasons for the continuation of those factors necessaty to, and the plaits for, <br />resumption. <br />1.13.9 Tett Year Limitation for Temporary Cessation <br />In no case shall Temporary Cessation be continuedfor more than ten (10) years 11-ithout ternllnating the <br />mining operation and fully complying with the Reclamation and Environmental Protection Plan <br />requirements of the Act and these Rules. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Division. <br />Sincerely, <br />j;r4 -441�-- <br />Eric C.
