Final grade of the slopes range between 2.5:1 to 3.0:1 (H:V). <br /> Spoils from slope grading were used to construct perimeter berms to a vertical height of 36 <br /> inches. The access road received minor addition of fill to smooth the road surface and reduce <br /> ponding of storm-water. A corridor was constructed to allow access to install and place pipe that <br /> routes up and along the existing roadway. <br /> No grading of the HGM platform was completed today. The remaining small stockpiles of <br /> unsuitable cobbles and boulders that were gathered during platform grading were removed and <br /> placed in appropriate areas away from existing infrastructure. <br /> Red alert for lightning occurred from approximately 4:00 to 4:30pm. <br /> 1.2 Subgrade <br /> No subgrade preparation was performed today. <br /> 1.3 Select Structural Fill (SSF) <br /> Select structural fill was transported and dumped using two Volvo A4OF articulated dump trucks <br /> (approximately 25 CY per load). The fill was spread using a Volvo H061 loader to a maximum <br /> loose thickness of 12 inches and compacted with a BW211 Bomag roller using a method <br /> specification for compaction. <br /> Page 1 <br />
