PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Moffat County Mining, LLC (MCM), 29515 Routt County Road 27, Oak Creek, <br />Colorado 80467, has submitted an application for renewal (RN18-07) of the existing <br />active Mining and Reclamation Permit (Permit Number C-81-044) for the Williams Fork <br />Mines. <br />The mine permit area encompasses approximately 6,361 acres, located approximately 6-7 <br />miles south of Craig, Colorado on both sides of State Highway 13. The Mine is under <br />"Active" permit status due to ongoing reclamation work initiated in late -2016. The Mine <br />Permit Area is covered by the Round Bottom and Castor Gulch, Colorado USGS 7.5 - <br />minute quadrangle maps and includes approximately four miles of State Highway 13, <br />beginning in the SW'/SW'/ Section 21, T6N, R91W, and extending through portions of <br />Sections 20, 29, 30, and 31 of T6N, R91 W, and Section 6, T5N, R91 W. The ownership, <br />precise location, and boundaries of lands within the Permit Area are identified on pages <br />2.03-22 through 2.03-31, 2.03-34, and Maps 1 and 2 of the Permit Application Package <br />(PAP), which is available for review in the Moffat County Clerk and Recorders Office. <br />The Permit Area encompasses all or portions of T5N, R91W, Sections 4, 5, 6, and 8; <br />T6N, R91W; Sections 17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33; T5N, R92W, Section 1; <br />and T6N, R92W, Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36. <br />Copies of the PAP (less confidential materials) are available for inspection at the above <br />company address and the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety. A copy <br />of the Permit Renewal application is also available for public inspection at the: <br />Office of Clerk and Recorder <br />Moffat County <br />221 West Victory Way <br />Craig, Colorado <br />Written comments or objections to the Permit renewal application; a request for informal <br />conference summarizing the requestor's issue(s) and indicating whether or not the <br />requestor desires the conference to be held in the mine locale; or a request for a public <br />hearing (held in the mine locale) to determine whether the interests of the public and <br />affected landowners will be protected (re: proximity of mining operations to public roads) <br />should be submitted to the State of Colorado, Division of Reclamation, Mining, and <br />Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 within thirty <br />days of the last date of publication of this notice. <br />
