Stover and Associates <br />2352 North 7`h Street, Unit B <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 <br />RE: North Thompson Creek Mines, Permit No. C-1981-025 <br />4t11 Quarter 2017 Pond Inspection Report Review <br />Dear Mr. Stover, <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the Division) has received <br />and reviewed the 4`h Quarter 2017 Pond Inspection Report for the North Thompson Creek <br />Mines. The report was received via email on January 17, 2018. The Division has the <br />following comments: <br />The quarterly pond inspections are in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Inspections of <br />the ponds were conducted on October 31, 2017. The inspections did not identify any <br />potential hazards during the 0h quarter of 2017. The report noted that maintenance was <br />not required on any of the ponds. These observations reflect site inspections conducted <br />by the Division. In the October 27, 2017 Division Inspection Report, it was noted that <br />the ditch in-between ponds T-2 and P9 has sediment deposited in the channel. It was <br />recommended by the Division to clean the ditch. <br />This concludes the Division's review of the 41h Quarter 2017 Pond inspection Report for <br />the North Thompson Creek Mines.
