(Tri-State), is the parent <br />company to Axial Basin Coal Company, which is the general partner to Colowyo Coal Company <br />L.P. (Colowyo). Therefore, Tri-State received your adequacy letter dated January 8, 2018 and <br />is providing the response below to your adequacy concern on behalf of Colowyo. The Colowyo <br />Mine operates under Permit No. C-1981-019. <br />1. The Agapito study submitted with TR -116 is dated October 19, 2017. The study is <br />referred to in the text as "AAI (2016) ". Please confirm that the Division has the correct <br />study, and update the permit text to refer to AAI (2017) to avoid future confusion. <br />Response: In Volume 15, the citation of AAI (2016) has been updated to AAI (2017) as <br />requested. Also, the cover page of Exhibit 7, Item 22B has been updated with 2017 <br />instead of 2016. <br />2. On proposed revised page 115, the final paragraph of text refers to Figures 2.05.6-1 and <br />2.05.6-2 which are deleted with TR -116. Please revise the text to remove references to <br />the deleted figures. <br />Response: Reference to Figures 2.05.6-1 and 2.05.6-2 have been removed as requested. <br />3. On proposed page 116, the fourth paragraph refers to across section in Exhibit 7, Item <br />22B which does not exist within the Colowyo PAP. Please provide a copy to Exhibit 7, <br />Item 22B or update the reference to the correct exhibit. <br />Response: This technical revision 116 (TR -116) submitted Exhibit 7, Item 22B which is <br />the Agapito Dewatering Report (AAI) that was reviewed by the Division under this <br />adequacy review. Therefore, the Division already has Exhibit 7, Item 22B.
