2.05.4 Reclamation Plan <br />Section CC was selected for this analysis because it exhibits the most severe <br />slope in the area to be reclaimed. The smaller cuts in this same area will be <br />reclaimed using the same techniques described herein. The Applicant <br />compiled additional information concerning reclamation of the mine bench at <br />the request of DRMS. The information is in response to Stipulation Number <br />11 of the May 5, 1985 permit approval and is presented above, and shown <br />on Figures 3.1-2 and 3.1-3. Figure 3.1-2 is a smaller scale map of the mine <br />site than Figure 3.1-1 and shows detailed reclamation contours of the <br />reclaimed mine site. <br />In general, all coal outcrops will be backfilled with incombustible material, but <br />the naturally occurring outcrops at the head of the two major canyons at the <br />mine site will be exposed. Any attempt to backfill these drainages would <br />encounter problems with erosion. <br />PR -02 2.05-39- 10/12 <br />
