I have
added each point starting with #3 to be addressed from your letter
so when reviewing our response one does not have to keep referring
back to your adequacy letter.
GENERAL
3. The Division received comments from Pueblo County, History Colorado and Division of Water
Resources. The letters are attached for review. Please acknowledge the letters, address any comments
within the letters, and make changes to the application, if necessary.
COLORADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY
This site was disturbed by mining prior to 1976, was used as a
Trailer house junkyard by Pueblo County and a farm yard for
many years . The likely hood of here being any cultural
resources on this site is very remote. Colorado Backhoe
Service understands that should they encounter human remains
during mining that the Pueblo County Sheriff' s department must
be contacted to investigate.
COLORADO DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES
Colorado Backhoe Service will make sure no stormwater is
retained on the mine site for more then 72 hours without first
obtaining an augmentation plan. At his time the water used
for dust control is purchased from an appropriate sources .
